Barn Style Timber Frame Home

One of the biggest trends with timber frame home building is to design and build a home that resembles a barn. Many old barns have been converted into homes and here at Davis Frame, we have created several Classic Barn Home models to resemble centuries old timber frame barns. Not only are our Classic Barn homes beautiful, but they are pre-designed and can reduces some of the costs typically associated with building a timber frame. By choosing one of our pre-designed barn homes, you this will save you time and get your into your dream timber frame home faster.

Emphasizing simple lines and large groupings of windows, this first floor plan design of Classic Barn 2 features a ground-floor master suite, central kitchen, cathedral-ceiling great room and dining room.

The second floor includes a central loft, two bedrooms and a full bath. The loft provides a spacious bonus area to curl up and read a book. Many timber frame home's incorporate lofts to create a cozy space and to offer an open view of the great room. Often homeowner's love the idea of a loft to enjoy the beauty of the timbers.

If you would like a timber frame barn style home with more square footage but with the look of our model Classic Barn 1A, please check out our similar model Classic Barn 1B. Classic Barn 1B offers an additional room that can be used as an office or study. This model also extends the square footage by creating a third floor with a loft.
