The Davis Frame shop finished working on the timber frame King Post trusses about two weeks ago and the timber frame accents were shipped out and installed last week by the project's builder Mike Lynn of Rocky Dell Builders, Inc. of Dorset, Vermont.
This is the third conventional style home in Vermont this year to add Davis Frame timber frame accents to their new home! There is currently a big upswing in wooden houses and cottages, along with wooden decks and extensions onto existing brick and mortar structures here in South Africa.
I found your blog during the course of researching the wooden home I'd love to construct down the coast, and am really pleasantly surprised with how advanced the technology is.
There is nothing quite like wood in my opinion, and those beautiful lofty ceilings just work so well for me.
