Front of the timber frame home
Here at Davis Timber Frame, we recently photographed a custom timber frame home located on the South Shore in Massachusetts. The custom home was built in 2007 and was chosen for our summer open house and clambake in 2008. The timber frame features 6,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The home was designed to accomodate family and friends. To expand their entertaining in the summer, the homeowners added a large patio and in-ground pool. There is no better place to be in the summer, with the ocean just a few miles away.

Here at Davis Timber Frame, we have had a lot of inquiries from people looking to add a timber frame addition onto their existing conventional home. If you are looking for the ambiance of a timber frame but are unsure that you want to build a new home from scratch, adding a timber frame addition to your existing home can still give you that look.
We have done several types of timber frame additions including: timber frame great rooms, kitchens, master bedrooms, personal art galleries and much more. Some of our additions have been as large as a small house and others have just been a room. We have also worked with clients in the past on timber frame porches and pergolas.
At Davis Timber Frame, you can work with one of our in-house designers to design an addition that suits your needs. Let us help you add an addition to your home that looks like it has been part of the house all along.
If you interested in building a timber frame addition, adding timber frame truss accents or you are looking to build a new timber frame home from scratch, call us today at 1-800-636-0993 to speak to one of our project coordinators.
